Just got to Hawaii with the family yesterday and we are enjoying the view from our balcony....it's BEAUTIFUL!!!! Now if we could just get the protestors at the hotel next door to BE QUIET!!!

Random Ramblings......

It might be FALL.....we don't want to say anything to jinx it, but it seems like the 100 degree weather might be OVER! We have been enjoying beautiful mornings and evenings and it has only been in the 80's the last few days.

Thought maybe it was time to put some more pictures from last week up.....hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Yesterday's thunderstorm

Obviously, we just don't get many thunderstorms rolling through this area, so it's always good to experience a nice strong storm. This one came through town in the middle of the afternoon yesterday. Winds were up to 70 MPH in some parts of the Valley, and took down trees and power lines in those areas.

More randomness

I've included just a couple random pictures over the past couple days.

Last night after church, a big dust storm came through the area, and luckily was followed by some heavy rain. Driving through all the dust, with much of the sun being blocked, looked a bit eerie, though.

The heavy rain DID clean my vehicle...initially...until I hit a giant mud-filled puddle later in the evening. Every inch of it now looks just like this.

Watching Monster Trucks and a walk

Carter and Mike were at Dad and Mom's last Sunday afternoon, and after the Arizona Cardinals game, Carter was excited to watch his Monster Truck show...

After Monster Trucks, it was time for a short walk around Sun Lakes.

Summer might be coming to an end....at least we are hoping for FALL to get here soon!

The air conditioners are still running, but the weather forcasters keep teasing us with 90's at the end of each long range forcast! October is next week so we are all anticipating that they (the weathermen) will be right one of these days! Even though it's been hot, we have been keeping busy, just ready to get outside and enjoy some nice fall weather! Here are some recent pictures!
