Hiking on South Mountain

Allison and I went hiking on South Mountain yesterday with Brianne and Eric. South Mountain is south of downtown Phoenix, and the location where we hiked was about 5 miles west of where I work. Although just a little cool (60's), the sun was shining off and on and it turned out to be a perfect day to be outside in the fresh air. Here are some pictures from the top of our trail...

Weekend Adventure to the Grand Canyon!

Upper 70's and Paradise Bakery

Grandpa and Grandma heading home tomorrow

I just wanted to wish Grandpa and Grandma a safe drive home as they head back to Kansas tomorrow. It's been great having them around for the past week or so, and I know they're probably tired from everything going on here lately, but I hope they had fun!

Chocolate Festival in Glendale

Allison and I went to the Chocolate Festival in Glendale yesterday (yes, that same Glendale where the Super Bowl was played earlier tonight)... And I must say that the chocolate-covered cheesecake on a stick lived up to its hype! Plus, the weather was GORGEOUS; we couldn't have asked for a nicer day to be out and about!

Pink Bunny is BACK!!

A long time ago, Gamma bought Dakota an Easter Present.  That present was known as "Pink Bunny"  Dakota LOVED Pink Bunny so much that in his final days he was left with no feet and no arms.  We finally decided that poor Pink Bunny had to be put down.  

Today, when I stopped by Gamma's, Sadie had gotten Miss Kota a present for putting up with her for the last two weeks.  Little did Kota know her old favorite was back!!  I'd like to introduce you'll to Pink Bunny Jr!  Already Kota Loves him!!  Also, if you see Miss K's head, Daddy gave Kota a Hair cut, or tried to :)
