Get ready for your close-up, kitty!

This morning, while Allison was going through a trial run for her wedding hair, kitty wanted to say hello to everyone...

Grandpa and Carter watching the KU game!

Carter and Grandpa were both a little "tense" during the come from behind victory of KU over Nebraska! In fact Carter had to close his eyes!

Please, please, please....if I don't look they'll win!

Ahhhhh.....now I can relax! It's over!

The usual weekend walk on a beautiful day

Allison and I took another walk around Cooper Commons this afternoon, and while the weather was gorgeous (about 73 degrees), we're looking forward to getting more color back in some of the plants in the area. But if that's the only complaint, then I think we're pretty lucky! We snapped off a few random pictures during our walk.

Stopping in one of the many park areas for a quick snapshot of us

Allison found some leaves that looked particularly crunchy...and crunched them

Leaves of a different color

We found some color, and this one turned out better than I thought

Lasagna is gooooooood...

Everyone went over to Dad and Mom's last night for some lasagna (thanks, Mom!) and visiting. I just took some very random shots. Oh, and I'm pretty sure Carter is going to be one of the most photographed kids ever...

Ummm...

What can I say? When there's a good sale (like for Kleenex and other groceries), you've got to stock up! :)

Taking a walk

After a busy weekend of running around and getting some things done for the wedding, we decided to relax on Sunday afternoon and take a walk around Cooper Commons. Sorry, no pictures from the playground (since they were busy with kids), but we did stop in the smaller park close to home to snap off a few. It was in the mid to upper 70's today, so we couldn't ask for a better day!

Dakota Says Merry Christmas

She received a new toy from PaPa Hampson.  She just wanted everyone to know how fun it is!

Kitty and Allison working together

Allison has been busy this afternoon getting things ready for her kids tomorrow, and Kitty thought she'd help out where she can.

A "drive by"

Ok, so the other day, I saw in the McPherson Sentinel online edition (http://www.mcphersonsentinel.com/homepage/x2094349693/Google-gives-birds-eye-view-of-McPherson) that Google launched a Street Vision product, and that McPherson, Galva, and Canton were included. This gives everyone the ability to "walk" through town. Sure, it might not be interesting to those who see the towns every day, but it's kind of nice to "drive by" the old house and other businesses to show people here in AZ :)

Here's the link to Galva...just click on Street View to take off on your journey!

A Music Therapist's job is never complete

Tonight was a special night...an instrument bleaching night at the house! For a little while, the entire office floor was taken up! And let the record state I helped clean where I could :)

Some pictures in the park

It's been a busy day, but Allison and I wanted to make sure we spent some time in the park this afternoon during this beautiful weather!

Visiting the Dogs....

Ok, so she was actually here to see Carter for a bit, but this is what she was greeted by.

They know a Dog Lover when they see one!

More "Carter" pictures!

I know everyone probably thinks that the blog has been taken over by Carter, but he's the "newest Gross" so what can I say? He has lots of catching up to do!

Late Christmas Celebration!

I think that Jeff just about covered it with his pictures of our last Christmas celebration of 2008, we could almost say "Happy New Year" by the time it was over. We all enjoyed the meal and the company! Please note that Carter was dressed in Jayhawk red and blue in honor of the Kansas Jayhawk football game!

Celebrating Christmas last night

With everyone available last night, we finally celebrated the immediate family Christmas. I'm sure Mom will have a few other pictures to post, but I've included several from my camera from last night. Chili, chicken soup with mashed potatoes, cinnamon rolls, cake, cookies...what else could anyone ask for?!
