We went FISHING!!!!

It was such a beautiful day that Stan and I decided to go fishing this afternoon. We were in luck....the catfish were biting on bread and cheese! We caught two and two more broke the lines! These pictures were all taken BEFORE Stan jumped in the pond to catch Mike's pole that a fish was trying to STEAL!!!! He got the pole, but that was the fish that broke the line. Oh well, we should have had a video camera....we could have been RICH!!!!

Yesterday's Fun in the Park Day

Yesterday was second annual (I believe) "Fun in the Park Day" at Cooper Commons, and a lot more people showed up than last year. A beautiful day, along with hot dogs, snow cones, and products from some of the local businesses, brings out the neighbors! We need to enjoy those nice days, because it's supposed to get warm here this week. Here are a couple Fun in the Park snapshots...

Allison and I love it when there are so many different flower colors in the area, so we're sure to bring a camera when we go walking around Cooper Commons. Yesterday was no exception during our walk on a beautiful day!

I think Spring really is here....we have had the wind to prove it this year! We are hoping that is behind us for now and the dust and pollen are finally settling down!
