Dad and Mom in Kansas

Ice cream and cake

Last night, Mike, Holly, Carter, Allison, and I went over to Dad and Mom's to have ice cream and cake to celebrate our birthdays. Carter was showing off his new skills (staying sitting up by himself) and his new "language" that he learned (video below). Thanks to Mom and Dad for having us over!

Illinois trip

Allison and I recently traveled to Illinois to visit her family in Rochester. We were gone from 7/3 through 7/8 and had a wedding reception at her parents home on 7/5. The weather was beautiful...including the rain for most of the day on July 4th! Rain always gets us excited! Thanks to the entire family for everything during our visit. We had a great time and look forward to the next trip!

Carter's 1st Diamondbacks Game!

Carter (along with Mom, Dad, Grandpa, and Grandma) went to his first Diamondbacks game on Monday night. I think he enjoyed it, but the bright flashing lights and all of the people were lots more interesting to watch than the BB game!
